Violinist Lucia Barcari and pianist Katya Khatsko are a new and dynamic ensemble based in Toronto, performing a wide range of classical music with an emphasis on Romantic and Contemporary music. Duo presents distinctive programs build on Theme, Concept, Conventional Program with a Twist, and a balanced selection of popular classics as well as newer works. They are reaching into the lives of people who are thrilled to discover the wonderful world of classical music and to the most seasoned music lovers who wouldn't miss an inspiring concert for the world.
In their fifth season, Lucia and Katya are bringing together musicians, painters, actors and presenters; invited to explore artistic synergies and collaborate for a transformative, enchanting and multivalent experience. They seek to immerse the audience into an ecstatic journey of discovery and enrich their musical experience with different forms of art.
